We aim to reinterpret the classic charm of chess with soft colors and warm family imagery. Through character-based design, the concept of "army" is transformed into "family," with each piece exuding a unique personality, making chess no longer a cold black-and-white army, but rather a family filled with warmth and affinity.
For the chess pieces, we utilize composite layered resin. The main body of the pieces is made from high-toughness resin to give them a smooth and comfortable tactile feel, while high-hardness resin is used for the detailed parts to showcase intricate features. Each component is polished, painted, and then assembled.
Finally, induction magnets are installed at the bottom. When combined with an interactive chessboard, the squares light up as soon as a piece touches them, making the game more dynamic.
This enhances interaction between people during the game, creating an emotionally rich gaming experience!
